Hi all,
Can anyone please reccommend me a good laptop backpack. I want one of the rucksack style ones as opposed to the record bag one.
I didnt want to spend more than £40.
Any advice?
Thanks.

I have 2 rebranded Targus bags the latest one is really well padded which is a good thing for a laptop bag. Lot's of useful pockets too.0

Sony rebrand them as Vaio bags.;)0 -
I got my dh and ds a great one in WH Smith reduced from £80 to £19.99. Only available in stores, can't find it doing a search in their online store though.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Costco have some Victorinox (sp?) laptop rucksacks. Got two. Neat and sturdy (Swiss Army knife brand).0

Tesco have some Targus backpack ones in - got one of these and its been in daily use for the last year - just picked up another before Christmas for about £10 to keep as a spare - plenty of padding and pockets0

will any fit a 17" screen laptop?I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0

I have a Tech-Air one (PC World, about 4 years ago) - think it was around £40 at the time. Laptops have dropped in price since, maybe bags have't gone up..?
Outside height x width is 16" x 13" - 15" screen lappy fits with a bit of room - would guess at 17" x14" for a 17" screen if it's as well padded.0 -
My Targus laptop rucksack (about £25 from Staples) is excellent. I frequently cycle with it and fly with it (hand-luggage, not checked-in), and 12 months later it is still in excellent condition. It's comfortable, and offers pretty good protection to the laptop.
It will take a widescreen laptop, some don't.
It's this one (Picture from argos):0
