Laptop Backpack

Options
Hi all,

Can anyone please reccommend me a good laptop backpack. I want one of the rucksack style ones as opposed to the record bag one.

I didnt want to spend more than £40.

Any advice?

Thanks.

I have 2 rebranded Targus bags the latest one is really well padded which is a good thing for a laptop bag. Lot's of useful pockets too.

I got my dh and ds a great one in WH Smith reduced from £80 to £19.99. Only available in stores, can't find it doing a search in their online store though.

I have a Tech-Air one (PC World, about 4 years ago) - think it was around £40 at the time. Laptops have dropped in price since, maybe bags have't gone up..?

Outside height x width is 16" x 13" - 15" screen lappy fits with a bit of room - would guess at 17" x14" for a 17" screen if it's as well padded.

My Targus laptop rucksack (about £25 from Staples) is excellent. I frequently cycle with it and fly with it (hand-luggage, not checked-in), and 12 months later it is still in excellent condition. It's comfortable, and offers pretty good protection to the laptop.

It will take a widescreen laptop, some don't.

It's this one (Picture from argos):
