Dmp failure

I have been unable to pay my DMP for the last 2 months as major repairs were needed to my house. CCCS are saying that they will cancel the DMP. What will happen then, will my creditors accept the payment direct from me or will the refuse or want more. My debt seems to be more than when I started i now owe 13500 and have paid £5000 off.
