Barcalys Cash Card Account Question?

Anyone know if with the Barclays Cash Card you can do online banking and does the online banking show the available balance of the account?

I have an account with co-operative, but it always show the current balance of the account and not actual balance taking into account debits that are 'about' to be debited.

I have to go to a certain cash machine to show me the actual balance and wondered if Barclays have this online service?

Thanks

Not whilst you are still bankrupt, once discharged you can get online banking.

Nothing to stop you ringing the co-op...they can give you an up to date balance straight away (saves you a trip out)

I was given full online banking with Barclays when I opened the account after going BR, I went into the branch and they set everything up. They dont seem to be consistent with who can have online banking or maybe I just got lucky?

BUT as marmalady said they've been VERY lucky keeping the online barclays bits while bankrupt...99.9% of the time this is taken away from you till discharge from BR once you have proof of discharge barclays will start the online bits & bobs again

Interesting, Barclays will give you a bank account while currently BR, but will not give you contents insurance if you have ever been BR, how silly is that?

Apart from being two very different things.....if you really are interested in securing insurance with Barclays.....question their actual policy in this regard.

[See CitySlicker's ongoing thread in this respect?]....enquire whether it really is a 2-year cut-off point for BR's?
