Hi, I don't know if this is the right site.

My dad was telling me that he used to have 'Clove cordial' with rum but he's never been able to find it.

I live in the north of England (Tyne and Wear). Does anyone know where I can buy some please.

Hi, from looking at the first site, it looks like I can't order a bottle, but a case!

The second site says 'pink cloves' rather that clove cordial. Is there a difference?

not entirely sure tbh - if you google "clove cordial", one of the links took me to a discussion where people were saying they preferred the brown clove cordial which has been discontinued as opposed to the pink cloves one. It's mentioned in a few other links as being a mixer for rum and brandy, so i suppose it's got to be similar to the one your dad talks about?

Hi, I never found that site, but them I'm not that good, or patient with the internet.

I suspect it's the brown one dad is on about as he says he's not been able to find it over the years. If it's been discontinued, that was probably the one.

I was hoping some salty old seadog may be viewing this and has found a very similar one. I'm reluctant to get a variation until I know a bit more. The more I look there seems to be all kinds of variations - and like any drink, they may all have the same name, but taste quite different to each other. Like whiskey, brandy etc
