Birthday offer at restaurants etc?

Hi everyone,
It's my birthday today (happy birthday me) and I'm trying to find somewhere for a group of 6 to go for dinner tonight that won't be too pricey. Does anyone know any restaurants that give you free stuff or discount on your birthday? I'm sure I usually get an email offering free wine or something but today my inbox is bare :-(
Bit unfortunate it's a Friday as most of the vouchers aren't valid Fri or Sat! Same thing with my tastecard :-(
P.s. would be Cambridge sort of area so most chains apply... cafe rouge, loch fyne, strada, etc :-)
