HI
We're thinking of moving from our starter home (2 bed terrace) to a perhaps 2 bed semi
Can we put the fees like solicitors and estate agent fees onto the mortagage ?
Our home is currently worth £150 k a nd we have a mortgage of £90 k - obviously without looking at figures if we were to buy a house for £180 k what sort of pay back am i looking at?
Many Thanks
Sue

Basically you would use some of the sale proceeds to pay for these fees. So by having a smaller deposit you need a slightly higher mortgage, and therefore the fees are "added" on to the mortgage.
