Credit report

Sorry for butting me I am usually a lurker more than a poster but i have just recieved my credit report from Annuallcreditreport and it's not as bad as what i thought although it only has one loan on it for a total for £2, 548 which from progrressive financial servies L, who i have never heard of and i have never had a loan for that amount, never, neber , never.
It's say that no payments have been made and there is a default on it from august 2005.
Is there anyway i can go about finding out about it?

You could try and contact the company and find out what it's for. Have you had a loan or credit for something else of that amount - they may be a debt recovery agency who bought your debt. If not, contact the court that issued the CCj.

You need to get your credit report from all 3 recognised Credit Reference Agencies that creditors use. What you have used is not recognised and may not have full or correct information on it.

Progressive finance is 'welcome' finance.

Looks as though someone's taken a loan in your name, need to get that sorted!
