have tried a few pics that I took with digital camera, but it says that each one the file size is too small - is there a way i can make my picture bigger so it will accept it?0

yeah you can right click on the image and go to 'open with...paint' then once its open in paint go to i think its file...then select all then right click on the image and go to stretch/skew then if u want the image to be bigger type in 150% and therefore that will be 50% larger than the original image.

Will/does it have 'sample' or 'test' printed across the middle of the photo as other printer manufacturers seem to do?
