Cakes in the bread machine

tried the lemon drizzle cake today. a bit dissapointed as the bm didn't mix the ingredients well and at the bottom of the cake there was some unmixed flour! however, when I cut that dodgy bit off and tried it I loved the cake. Incredibly moist and simply delicious. will be making again, but will have to mix everything well before putting into bm0

Using the pizza setting to mix the cake saves on having to wash up an extra bowl. I just use a plastic spatula to kind of help the paddle to mix it all bu pushing the mixture into the middle as it's mixing. I also add a teaspoon of baking powder to the mix to help it rise a bit more.
The banana cake made in a Panny is so good for using up old bananas!I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!
