Staples have these at £129.91 so this is a good price!
Sony satnavs are quite difficult to add Speed Cameras and other POIs to however, so best avoided if that's one of your requirements.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

Had it advertised at the old Savacentre in Washington but they were sold out.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

I won one earlier this year. Gave it to my folks as they wanted a feature it has ie to AVOID motorways. Good size display but large cradle affair that really needs to be left in situ on the windscreen. Personally I prefer my petite Garmin i3 StreetPilot (£99 Comet mid year) though it's less sophisticated.
The Sony PC link software is a bit of a nightmare - eg Windows Defender DOES defend against it 100% and still haven't got it working on my folks PC so no idea what its meant to do, apart from backup the map data (menu option).0 -

I've just bought one of these systems from Sainsbury's for £100, seems to be a very good bargain, very easy to set up and use!
Just wondering if the system updates new roads or do you have to purchase updates off the web? I was looking at buying the continental europe maps but if you don't get road updates for free, not sure if it is really worth it??
Also, does anyone know where you can get the european maps from? Been looking on the web but they seem to be over £100, any moneysaving advice would be greatly received!Money is like manure; it's not worth a thing unless it's spread around encouraging young things to grow.

Sony NV-U50, review is here http://www.t3.co.uk/reviews/auto/in-car_gadgets/sony_nav-u_nv-u50_satnav at £350!!!
I picked one up yesterday, they were in a glass case marked at £150, but I asked the assistant and he confirmed the price was in fact £99.99. Great buy, don't forget your Nectar card (like I did!)!0 -
Yeah, sorry, Sony NV-U50.
