OH NO!


I thought i was a bit of a techie and tried to download some stuff to then upload onto my GPS.

Turned it back on and have got a message saying

"System Software MISSING"

You could try a hard reset, press all three buttons at once and a menu will appear. Use the following links for POI's(points of interest e.g land marks, speed cameras etc). Don't update the unit software unless you have to as it sometimes causes
problems. Start with the USB drivers then POIloader.

i can not reset it as it just says "System Software MISSING"

Search for "System software missing" here seems quite common but you'd be better off posting on that forum yourelf or even better contacting Garmin who will walk you through it. If they can't suss it you should be able to return it as faulty.
