Tax for 6 month in Afghanistan

Hi there im on a six month contract out in afghanistan being paid by a company in the UK via PAYE. I left on June 4th and will be back Dec 4th. How much tax or NI will i be able to claim back, and how do i go about this.

If you're only away for 6 months, you will still be a UK Resident, and still pay UK tax as normal - search for "HMRC6" document, as this explains the rules.
