hi there,
I'm hoping one of you lovely can help me. I volunteered to make a cake for a friends leaving party (tomorrow) but have come home from work to find i've got no eggs or cocoa, I do have flours, sugars, spices etc, and a glut of white chocolate among my useful ingrediant cupboard! Does anyone have any suggestions that i could whip up tonight and save a trip to the shops?!
Thanks

Have you any rice krispies?I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

I was thinking of rocky road, but that depends on whether you've got nuts, marshmallows and raisins in the cupboard. Mmm, white chocolate rocky road...
I did find this recipe for chocolate chip cookies.
Loving the rice krispie cake thought though!

Thanks for replying!
No rice crispies, although do have other cereals such as boulders and chocolate hoops and muesli and weetabix?! Hope that may muster some ideas! I do have sultanas, almonds & dried fruit.0 -
you can subsitute eggs with oil in cakes, I've done that before. Or try these links for alternatives, including Mayo!

thanks,
would you happen to know the quantities for substitution with oil?
or a recipe?!0 -
I tried searching but couldn't see anything specific. i think it was half an egg shell/cup per egg. But don't quote me on that! i used it in a banana cake so it was already moist.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

3 tablespoons pureed banana or applesauce per egg apparently - although I've not tried this, just googled "egg substitute in cake""Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0
