Hi,
Just entered into an agreement with a dca to make monthly payments on a debt.
Just had another letter from a different dca chasing the same debt.
There has been no correspondance to say that the debt has been taken off the original dca and given to the new one.
Where do i stand?
Thanks.

Tell the other DCA you're already making payments to another DCA. Let them sort it out between them.0

Yes, it is. Up to you if you want to complain.0

Firstly check and compare the dates on the letters - usually DCAs use 2nd class and it is not unheard to get letters not delivered in 2 weeks.
Secondly, check if the new DCA is not just another name from the same group.
DCAs send automatic letters (or should I say templates) and as long as you do not actually start paying the process continues (you've only agreed repayment but have not yet paid).
If in doubt, you can always ask Original Creditor / Account Owner whoc is currently dealing with your account.0
