Around £5.50 a KG is still very expensive compared to the cost of a full bird - even if, unlike me, you insist on buying a 'happy' chicken.0

I personally don't care if it's been manacled all it's life or has lived in a penthouse & been allowed to watch The Sound Of Music dvd, as long as it tastes of chicken and is cheap............:money:What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0

bribrian I have yet to discover a 'happy chicken ' that's dead.Once dead I would eat it even if it had been sobbing its eyes out. I care not two figs whether its had a 'happy life' or not, its food, its edible, and it feeds me. That is what it's grown for, not to frolic around in a meadow.Ask a starving child in the third world about how 'happy' it wants its food !!!!!!0

You are lucky to be able to afford your principles. Not everyone has the luxury of such a choice0
