Dear Sir/Madam,
I received your I and E form, but unfortunately I am not prepared to share this information with you, and legally only a judge in a county court can request this,
I am cooperating with you and enclose a postal order for 10 pounds and will do so every month on the same date.
Rest assured that If court action is taking and this case does go to court Wescot working on behalf of (FGA), will end up getting less than the 10 pounds I can realistically afford to pay you, I have two children under 19 months one of which is very ill, and a wife that does not work and I am self employed with chronic Asthma with hardly any work in the current climate.
This debt is 12 years old and I have always paid it. It is now into the interest part of the agreement, and as the agreement was a shocking one to begin with, the National Debt line and my Solicitor have advised me that I am offering to pay too much a month, and I should reduce to 1 pound a month after going through I and E with them.

I am not wilfully avoiding payment and I intend to cooperate as I have said but I will not be submitting an I and E form to you as this is private information.

Yours Sincerely

the above is all true thanks in advance, i just dont want to give wescot any info on me:eek:

A DCA can ask after all. It's just that you have no duty to supply that info unless ordered by the court.

    Perhaps also add in....

I also note that "pressurising debtors to pay in full, in unreasonably large instalments, or to increase payments when they are unable to do so" is in direct breach of OFT guidelines on debt collection. Therefore, any further attempt by you to do so will be immediately reported to the OFT and trading standards.
