I live alone and am trying to cut down on spending.
Having only ever shopped at the big 4 I decided to branch out a bit.
I found F*rmfds is best value for milk- now only £1-80 for 2x 4 pints. Their 'Nicky' loo roll and kitchen towels can't be beaten either- currently 9 loo rolls are 2 for £4, and the kitchen roll 2 for £2.
For bread and sugar then it's I_eland. Don't be drawn in to their so called deals though. They have a long running deal with Kingsmill so all of their products are very cheap.
If you meal plan and cut what you spend on staples then lots can be saved. I'm off to get some milk!

Well thank you all so much, I have done the menu which is so much easier and better, I then went on tesco online and did it on there though next time will definatley go to shops and get some clearence stuff, though I never find any bargains in the freezer!!. I have managed so far to make flapjacks for lunch boxes, beefburgers freeze them, Sausage rolls with the sausage meat which was lurking in the back of the freezer!, I have made a chilli, spag bol, and chicken curry! phew all in the freezer and to top it off a wonderful kind friend of mine gave me a freezer as I am desperate for another one! so THANK YOU all for your tips when pushed its amazing what you can achieve!! thank you. Also my bill came to 49.76 inc del from tesco, BUT tesco delivered late and they overcahrged me on 3 items so my OH told me to call them up, of which I did they gave me a full refund on del charge, they gave me full refund on all the products the over charged me on, so my shopping came to.......£32.28!! its been my week!!!! lol the change in the pot for next week0
