I have in the past soaked cotton wool in vodka, only the cheapy stuff from Herr A or L, never stuff you would actually want to drink, and applied that to the stains.
Can't say it worked brilliantly, but it did look better, might have has something to do with the scrubbing after.

Love it - so instead reeking of stale sweat I can reek of vodka instead - lesser of 2 evils I s'pose0 -
I've found that getting dressed before the roll-on has dried properly causes the fabric to stain when laundering, so I've stopped doing that. I've got one of those Vanish stain-sticks and use it with a nail-brush before popping items in the machine removes staining quite well.0

ix it better to use roll on or spray or dosent it matter. Also should you always use a good one to prevent staining?:footie:0

Try using bicorbonate of soda on your armpits instead of deodorants. I know it may sound a bit weird, but it really works. It also helps if you shave armpits ( oops, no offence meant, I don't know how you do it) , then apply soda. Even though the yellow spots might still appear, they'll wash off easily. If you feel my post has been useful, " merci" would not go amiss.

You should let the roll-on dry before dressing.

I'm glad you asked this OP as I've just noticed in the last week or so, that my black work shirt has got horrid white stain in the armpits.
Now I only use a roll on before work, and let it dry first, and it's not happened before - mind you it has been warmer than usual at work recently.
