I'm quite pleased with myself - I had to go into town to collect a parcel from the sorting office. The tram fare from my house to town is £1.20 each way. I decided to walk to town (down hill) and just get the tram back. However while in town I realised I only had a £20 note and didn't really want to "break into" it (does anyone else feel like this??) so I decided to talk back too.
Off to work in a few mins, working til 11 so the pubs will be closing when I finish - no point going out. Should be a complete zero spend day - my first for a while!
Should be repeated tomorrow too - going to a friend's party but my parents gave me some left over wine and beer from Christmas to take. And on Monday I hope for another no spend day, planning to spend it cleaning the house.
I have just smoked my last cigarette. Was going to buy more but again didn't want to break into the £20, so have decided to bring my new year's resolution of quitting forward by a couple of days. Wish me luck guys!!
Apart from petrol to get to work, I'm going to seriously try and spend nothing until my payday (18th jan). All my bills are paid now and instead of going out, I'm going to spend my time ebaying stuff to earn money.

Yesterday turned out to be a NSD which I'm very proud of as it was the first one I was really conscious of and resisted silly things.
Today I'm going to try and get into town and return some stuff I bought in the sales the few days before xmas and really don't need so will hopefully end up being a NSD and even getting some cash back. :j

NSD for me - been watching DVDs and relaxing. Going to go out on a (free) run now and later we are cooking dinner for a friend. Consciously resisted the urge to head into town even for a wander as I don't want to have to top up my oyster next week so settling for the local park. Hoping for an NSD tomorrow, got some of Tesco's deals on alcohol yesterday and going to house parties locally. Not sure I'm going to be able to resist a newspaper though...0

Well it was going to be a NSD but I had to go to town to pick up some milk and bread. While I was in tesco I bought a bunch of their sales bits and bobs, wrapping paper, christmas cards, crackers and some of their reduced gift packs of toiletries. Then I went to boots to pick up my daughter's epilepsy medication and got some more sales stuff, aftershave reduced to £4, make up sets, a few kids toys. All together I spent £90 but I have almost all of the years birthdays sorted and a bunch of stuff for xmas 2007 (gifts for all adults at way less than £5 each). So, although I hadn't planned on a large spend day I am quite pleased with myself.
Tomorrow I am working, we have 5 gigs so my personal spend will be 0. I am then off on tour for 18 days, spend tends to be up and down depending on how good the venues are at feeding us. January should be a pretty good month though.:A

Yayy! NSD almost complete. In fact I've even earned a few quid catching up with some matched betting.
It's now getting dark and rainy so the temptation to go out has completely gone and I'm off to take some pics for eBay listings *polishes halo*Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
