Little everyday debt best plan to combat it.

I owe electric, council tax and water on my old place.

I also could do with paying a cancellation fee to get out of my contents insurance (it was a requirement to rent this house and i no longer want it)

the electric and council tax are about £150 combined (the other half is owed by my old flatmate)
the water I'm not sure too scared to find out...
I haven't told them I've moved because I don't have the money to pay them right now, I know that's probably not a good idea, but you see my new rent is due at the end of the month so i need money for that.

My boyfriend has only just got a job and he's going to pay it all off for me (after all he got me into this little debt by living rent/bill free with me for three months) but I'm worried they'll put interest on or something in the meantime. The haven't sent me any new letters though.

The new flat is on an electric meter so one i pay the old bill off that's gone for ever. I have maybe £200 pounds that I could pay it all off with but I was saving it for rent. I guess my boyfriend could pay the full rent but I'm not sure he'll make the cash in time.. it's due on the fifth.

I owe my mum £550 and my old landlord won't give me the deposit back till the electric is paid (even when i do pay my half i have to count on my old flatmate paying his)

I'm not sure of the best course of action, I'm panicking and all I dream about is money now. We spend a lot less on food atm (we eat lobby etc.) we have no telly or licence, we just have internet. My mum pays my phone contract (which keeps going over cos of the 0845 calls, even my gp is 0845 :/ I get free home phone calls though) my main expenses really is probably self maintenance for work, but I haven't bought any new clothes since we moved I'm making do until we have spare money.

I work as a lapdancer so having the right makeup n hair is a necessity although my mum always taught me you should always try and look like you're not broke because then you don't feel as miserable and don't give into it.

What's the best course of action should I pay it all off with my rent money? (my dad did offer to help with my rent if we really struggled this month, i never have asked him to before but it'd be a good safeguard) or should I do installments? What about my water? I haven't the money for that? Also my old deposit how will I get it back if the other guy doesn't pay his bit? :(

My wages are very up and down I could make £200 and everything would sort easily or I could make a loss, so as much as I usually make a good profit if it's a good time for money I don't want to count my eggs before they hatch. My club is a little slow lately and my confidence a little shattered so I haven't been 'banking' lately thinking about money doens't help either.

    Hi

You need to tell the providers that you have moved out so that you are only charged up to the date you left. Did you take a meter reading for the elec? was the water on a meter?
You should be able to arrange to pay them all back in installments - but the key thing is to tell them you;ve moved and start paying something as soon as you can (so they know you are trying to pay and not going to flit away).

Are you in touch with flat mate? Do you think he can and will pay off half the elec bill?

Can mum wait for her money until you get the deposit back - or will she need t sooner?

The landlord took the reading for me because I couldn't find it. Not sure I trust him though, I gave them the reading though. No I don't think so.
Well I sent the electric bill to my flatmates house for the time being until I sort out the £81 I already paid off £70 in one go and I didn't want to be pestered.

I have his address to send half the bill to but no I think he'll dodge it as long as he can.

Mum can wait for her money thankfully. :)
