95% mortgage deals

Hi all,

Is there any companies out there that provide 95% mortgages to non-existing customers and non-first time buyers.

I saw on a website that C&G do an up to 120% mortgage to existing customers, which I am, rang them up and the guy didnt seem to know anything about it and would get someone to call me back. He did seem to think the higher %age mortgages are for people in negative equity.

I reckon I can get 10% deposit but it all depends on what my current house sells for less fees, so I am aiming at 5% deposit at worst but no one seems to do them unless your an existing customer or FTB.

Better off getting a far bigger deposit. A5% deposit will put you in negative equity and so will a 10% in this falling market. That could put you at remortgaging risk in a few years meaning higher payments.
