Does it have to be a tin? If a big box would do then do you have a Home Bargains near you? They usually have some half price deals on. A couple of weeks ago I got an enormous box of Milk Tray under half price, they also had Black Magic and Thorntons boxes when I was there. HTH0

Because the big boxes tend to be generated for the Christmas market, the best time to buy is in the New Year when they are reduced to £3-£4, and keep an eye on the date. No help to you now, but perhaps a fesh cake from the bakery might be an option instead?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
