Wholesale 'health food'

Just wanted to report that I've just done my first bulk shop with Essential Trading and it was fab. I signed up with three friends to get an account. It's like having my own health food shop but at trade prices.

Browsing through the catalogue took a while, especially as I was comparing all of the prices with mysupermarket.com as I went. ;) Some things were a lot cheaper (organic spelt flour, organic raisins, dove cereals, ecover washing powder, toiletries, etc) but others things were the same as in the supermarket/health food shop.

If you regularly buy organic food and eco products it is worth a look. It is nice buying in bulk and knowing that I am well stocked. I now have 2kg of bombay mix to chomp through :p

What a big selection they have! What was the same price as in the shops?

    Thanks!
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

Hi Lexa34, I can't remember the complete list from the top if my head, but organic sugar was cheaper in the supermarket at the time, also Doves chocolate stars. If I remember more I'll let you know.

I am doing another order at the end of October.

Cool- you mention you set up the account with some friends was that to simplified the buying process or so you can officially be a co-op?

    THANKS!
