Costco Cakes

Has anyone had a "special occasion" cake from Costco recently. Can you tell me how many they serve and how much they are roughly ...
My card has run out but a colleague has a card so would order and collect one if I decide to have one! Do they do cupcakes too?
Any advice appreciated!

*Frantically searching for cheap cakes!* (have looked at M&S for a 2nd option!)

Thanks in advance!
:D

No idea how much they cost but they're yummy. I think they only do big sheet cakes, although that might have changed.

Their cupcakes are nommy, and also huge.

I got one recently for £12.99 i think. No idea how many people it served it it's pretty big! It's taller than the celebration tray bakes from the likes of asda so a small slice is all you need.

I don't think that you can order online. You can definitely order over the phone with the membership number. You have to know which cake design you want, which flavour (vanilla, vanilla and jam filling or chocolate), which colour of icing (white, choco, green) and which colour you want the design to be (pink, red, purple, yellow, orange, blue, green) and then the pick up date, where you need the same membership card.

They do let NHS peeps join but its not a reduced price like some business holders get AFAIK!

Its £12.69 - I bought my cake on Saturday for MIL's 60th birthday.

I think we got about 40 slices from the cake, but we did cut them quite thick. It was yummy.

Whats more, my local one were kind enough to do a 'special'.
My daughter is an Egyptologist and I provided a simple 'design' including heiroglyphics saying ?(as near as you can) Happy Birthday and her name!!
I was and still am very impressed by their flexibility AND the cake was delicious!:j

Our local Costco here in South East London has been actively recruiting members from the great unwashed general public for well over a year, We joined last spring! You could try going into your nearest one and asking them, and hopefully they will let you join, you could recoup the money spent quickly if you shop wisely.
