Boots Advantage Points Question

Options
Bit of a Boots newbie here :o but i've accumulated over 5000 points (£50?) on my card, mainly from the purchase of an Xbox 360 and a digital camera. I dont shop in boots very often so what i want to know is...how do i use these points?
I know i cant use them online, only in store but do i have to use them all in one go? Or can i use a few at a time, like if i wanted to buy something for £10 use my points and still have £40 left.
Also can i buy gift vouchers in store with them as that would be a good idea for upcoming birthdays etc.
Sorry if its a dumb question but i really dont know
Errrr...come back later ;)

You can't buy gift vouchers with them - you get the points when you spend the vouchers.

You can buy practically anything instore. I think the SELs have asterisks on them, where you can use points.

You need to be able to fund the whole purchase price with the points, ie you cannot top-up with cash.

You do not need to buy something that uses ALL of your points. You can spend just £10 of your £50 of points.

And you still get your BOGOFs and 3for2s when spending points.

Thanks for that, shame you cant buy vouchers with them cos that would have been ideal. Dont shop in Boots much so not sure what to use them on. Also my local store is quite small so it doesnt have any electrical stuff, may have to visit a larger store

if you use your card at the Ac machines(in store look like atm) their are even more offers with which you can top up your points balance or you can print out vouchers for various products , such as discounts extra points or sometimes free products.

  • I use mine for little things like a meal deal, toothpaste etc rather than using cash. I have also restocked the gift drawer with the sale bargains. If I want to buy loads then I use money and boost my total points using vouchers from the Advantage card Machine. I shop on line when triple points are on and usually use a 10% off code in addition. I also get 6.5% back through Quidco.
