bankrupt and overtime

Hi spoke to the OR who said that I could earn as much extra as I liked and that she had no interest in it whatsoever. She said to me I could win the lottery and she would have no care in my extra income. I then rang her back and asked her to confirm via email so I had it in writing which she did with no problems.
What fantastic news.0 -

That's good news, but unusual, it is at the or's discretion so anyone else still needs to declare itHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
That is basically the same wife has been in for the last three years with her IPA, the OR was only going to be interested if the extra payments(overtime) were going to be at least six months or longer at a time, if not she didn't have to declare it.0

It just gets more confusing. I am under the old rules started of Nil Tax code IPA then when finished paying that(Tax), went straight on to normal IPA Payments. Was always under the impression any O/time the OR would take most of it, think like other poster`s will contact the OR, could really do with the O/Time but cant see the point if i will lose most of it.0

ok basic rule of thumb, unless your specific OR has specificly told you personally otherwise, then you have a duty to declare ANY overtime you doHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Did you have a pay increase or something?
Or were you paying a combined total and it was reduced by the tax.0 -
I started to pay very soon after BR, My tax code was changed to a nil tax code, i then paid combined total of tax and IPA up untill April now just pay IPA. Going to ring OR on Monday to see what the score is on O/Time.0
