Paying back a Lloyds TSB loan early.

ok, and effectively i still get a chunk of the insurance rebate back because in shortening the length of the loan?
is that correct?

or am i still having to pay back what the remainer of the loan suggest at just over £6g?

or will this lower anyway due to overpayments?

You will need to ask for a rebate if PPI is involved.

Went to Lloyds on Friday to pay 6k off my loan leaving £33.00 They took the full Monthly payment out today £200+. Went into the...Bank and the assistant put me through to the main office. The woman on the phone said that i 'still owed' over a £100 even though i over payed by £170ish because i settled the loan off early!!! I explained i didn't settle the loan just payed a chunk off it and that i am being charged 50+ days interest. She has put this through as a complaint, to which i await the info through the post. Any help on this would be appreciated Ta.

You would have owed nearly a full month's interest on the amount owed - are you sure that you are being charged 56 days interest?
