Information about CCJ

Hi everyone
Just tried to find out as much info on this as possible.
Now I received a CCJ in 2008 and have been paying back since then, but as this was a credit agreement from 2003 I was trying to find out if it was still legal.
I spoke to the collection company (Nolans Solicitors) and they say theyre might not be any documentation existing but they can still claim the debt due to the court decree.
Now can i fight this in any way as there is no documentation and probably never has been since or before the CCJ was implemented.
Thanks for any help
Rich
