Free Sky TV comp problems

Has anyone won, from any company, one of these "Free Sky TV for a year" packages. Sky are supposed to be calling me to arrange it all and I'm still waiting and the company who I won with (not sure if its right to name them YET) say they've passed all my details on and its now down to Sky.

I've never won, but dealing with Sky can mostly be a looooonnnng process. I would not expect anything quickly from them.

I won sky for a year with Real Radio & it was in & working within the month.
I didn't encounter any problems even tho I already had a subscription. They did insist on fitting another box in a second room. I now have a Sky+ HD in 2 rooms & am only paying for a 2nd room (£10) & Sky+ (£10) so it was worth having to go on the radio.

Why are you paying £10 for Sky + , that charge is long gone. Surely you should just pay for the multiroom?

Sorry I meant £10 for sky+ HD on the 2nd room. Appears to be £10.25 now, tho..

I won and got a letter from Sky about 2 weeks after asking me to call which I did a couple of weeks later. We already have Sky HD so we just had a new box fitted (and kept the old one as a spare) and just had the 12 months added to our account. We are now on a VIP account so have a different number to call for problems

We're also with Sky already but have cancelled one multiroom sub as the box is dead and cant afford a new one, and cancelled the Movies pack as our bill was too much. So this prize seems like a dream come true but the cancellation kicks in on Aug 13th, so really wanting it sorted before then.
