ING mortgage applications

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone can offer any feedback on the ING mortgage application process? Most importantly, time taken between application and offer? What was the process like?

Currently trying to apply for a Woolwich mortgage but it will probably take an age to get processed, so need to apply elsewhere as a back-up before I lose the property.

Any other lenders known for speedy applications? Would I fare better going through a broker rather than direct?

Hi,
I have just used ING for my mortgage, there interest rates were very competitive and they were really quick. From them receiving the documents they asked for to giving us a mortgage offer was 3 days, and our application needed to be checked properly as I only had copies of payslips. They said if they were the original copies and everything matched what we had said it would have been done on the same day.

My experience with them has been extremely positive and there customer service seems very good.
