Halifax Mortgage Experience

Hi All,

For many, including me, the whole process of buying a new house is pretty stressful and usually has complications along the way.

I just wanted to make brief comment that my experience with Halifax this time has been absolutely brilliant. No delays, calls at every step, clear information and finally a lovely 'welcome hamper' delivered to our new house yesterday.

For those seeking the no stress approach, Halifax are certainly up there and have their customer service in great shape.

Thats good, my daughter is currently buying a new house and is getting a mortgage with the halifax that have been really quick in offering her a mortgage. How long did everything take from you getting offer of mortgage.
