Anyone else getting these texts?

Hi Guys

I keep getting this text from various numbers: 'Your loan has been approved for up to 15K. No Guarantor. Same day payout. Completely online. www.ukapprovalsite.co.uk. To opt-out reply stop.'

Any one else getting these? anyone know where they have got my number from? Also, seems pretty new as nothing on Google about them...

Thanks my lovelies
xxxx

They could have got your number anywhere tbh. I sometimes get the accident compensation ones and just reply STOP and they go away.

Up to you. You'll just keep getting the messages if you don't lol
  • I just ignore them - feel that replying in any way as you say confirms the number is "live".

    Annoying tho'

  • Received the same text 2 times.

'Your loan has been approved for up to 15K. No Guarantor. Same day payout. Completely online. "approval web site link here" To opt-out reply stop.'

When I received it the second time, I had replied STOP with the intention of stoping the TEXT service. Soon after this reply text, I have received a call and asked me about "My declined loan application" and the agent enquiring more about my credit report and also offered advice on credit report if I am willing to talk to their consultant. I denied the offer and told not to call again for offering "Loan". Truth is that I have not applied for any loans in near past.

5 minutes ago, I have received the 5th call from Approval site for with the same offer. All calls from different numbers - local, 0844, etc. I dont know how to really STOP this nuisance.

    Friends, Please advice.

    Cheers.
  • Same here. My friend just received it a week ago and it sounds like a spam to both of us. We just ignored it and weren't paying attention to texts and calls. After 3 days, they stopped. It will pass don't worry. Ignoring them is the key. :D

Just thought i would share my experience on www. ukapprovalsite.co.uk

I applied for a loan to clear my debts which was for £5000. I did get turned down by my bank so went online and filled in a few applications. I then got a text off ukapprovalsite which I filled in. within the hour I got a call and gave a few more details in order to get a quote. Although this did take a little time they emailed me a quote which was better than i thought due to my poor credit rating. They offered me £4200 which I accepted and today true to their word it is in my bank account!!

If you have a bad credit score like mine then it is harder to get aloan and sometimes the rate is higher but at least now i will be paying off most of my debts and not paying out so much each month!
    :T

LOL you are a spammer and a shyster sir, and a cad.......

I've had those texts, and the accident compensation ones. Although they're really annoying I just delete rather than replying 'stop'. I'd love a facility on my mobile to block this kind of spam though!

I got similar texts, then calls for a while - two or three times a day, more or less at the same time of day every day. I just ignored them and they stopped calling after a week.

If they don't stop calling, answer the phone and have some fun with them - tell them you don't speak english (in perfect english), put a young child on the phone to talk nonsense to them, tell them you've just got to take something off the stove and you'll be back in two seconds and just put the phone down (without hanging up). Some of them hang on for a long time before giving up! It's amusing and it costs them time & money at the same time.

I answer and don't say anything. It costs them the connection fee.
