i got a joint of beef from the bargain bin the other day and put it in the freezer.
took it out yesterday am and put it in the fridge.
this morning its still frozen, not solid but frozen.
i have put it on the window sill, i want to cook it this afternoon.
i don't normally cook joints as its just me , df and a 3 year old and i am vegetarian.
any bright ideas on defrosting it quick.
? can it go in a bowl of warm water ?
it is not enormous, 825g
TIA for your help

if you have a very sharp knife, cut it into steak size slices???
the cold water method always works for me.0 -
I always thought it was cold water as opposed to warm but then I'm not the greatest in the kitchen!Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011
