Peroni 660ml bottles are currently 5 for £6 but also taking offer of 3 for £5 off so bought 21 bottles costing £19.20 sorry havnt got time to work out how the multiples work

So if I learnt anything in maths at school, the lowest common multiple between 3 and 5 is 15 - so that's the optimum number to buy, as both discounts will kick in?

Sorry got it wrong the receipt is showing 5 for £6 the other discount is showing as 3 for £5
It shows as a bulmers/peroni offer so may work on bulmers aswell0 -

£1.99 x 15 = £29.85
Subtract = 5 for £6 3 times and 3 for £5 5 times?
So is it roughly £16.70 for 15 bottles so £1.11 each?

15 is a great option - worst case scenario - £18 for 15.

That would make it £1.68 per litre, which is quite good actually. My OH is happy if he finds beer for under £2 per litre nowadays!0 -

Receipt states two discounts
BRS/CDRS: 3FR£5 -£4.85
BULMRS/PRNI: 3F£4/5F£6 -£11.85
Total: £29.85 - £16.70 = £13.15 so
