Shop opennings 2nd January

Does anyone know if the large shopping centres are open on 2nd Jan?

I'd imagine a lot of them are open on New Years day!!!! Check the newspapers and see if debenhams and similar stores are open, for example and then that might give you an idea as to whether the shopping centres they're located in are open. otherwise I guess you could call the shopping centre manager direct and ask if the centre will be open.

As far as im aware its all back to normal on the 2nd.

I work in a shop and monday for us is bank holiday hours which is the same as sundays, then usual opening hours from the 2nd. Obviously some shops may be differant but on the whole I think most are the same

I work in Tescos and we are closed on the 1st and 2nd of January, but I think some shops are open on the 2nd of January.

Asda is open on 2nd January, the girl on the till was saying today.

I checked the Tesco website and it said the same as you - closed 2nd. My local Tesco has a notice outside with festive opening times and says it is open on the 2nd

Some Tesco's stores are open, it depends where you are.
