I'm Going to Make and Sell Fimo Jewellery to Fund my Coffee Machine!

Options
Hey all!!

Im a poor and bored student:(, so over this long summer period i decided that im too impatient to wait till my birthday to purchase a Dolce Gusto coffee machine!:j

Iv always loved playing around with Fimo and have dabbled in jewellery making for fun but iv decided to turn it into something a bit more lucrative!;)

Iv found these fimo canes on amazon that are supposed to be for nail art puposes, but im sure they would be very pretty covering other things!

Would make them myself and have tried, but i really can't make them nearly as well!!

Il slice them very thinly and use them to create colourful pendants and also rings.

I would show images on what i hope to achieve but im a new user and can't!!

Any ideas on other stuff i can do with the canes will be much appreciated!

Money made so far: £-12:00 :(

  • I've never seen someone with such an intuitive approach to Fimo and making money! Hope this goes well!

They look like you'd be able to make quirky earrings out of them too :)
How big are they? Could you maybe stick them onto hairbands/ hairclips etc.? As a fellow poor and bored student, hope it goes well :)

Wow...they are so cute! It's difficult to tell the size of them though...could you use them for decorating picture frames or something like that?

    Good luck

I think they range from half a centimetre to one centimeter in diameter.
Iv seen a lovely small trinket box that was covered in them and it looked lush.

I'd never heard of these until now, so I Googled "what to do with Fimo canes" and loads of ideas came up - mainly on Youtube for anyone who wants a look!

Why are you so desperate for this coffee machine?

    Wouldn't really say desperate.....

Im just trying to offset the cost and if succesful perhaps get a little extra. Money saving and all.

Sorry, please don't get me wrong, it's great to have a target its just that these coffee machines pee me off a bit and think there are better alternatives out there (I worked, chained to a coffee machine making everything you could think of for two years whilst working in France and have a bit of a thing about them now)

    Good luck! :T

You can of cause also be "inspired" by what is done on the like of Etsy and they will also be able to help you see pricing.

Dont under estimate how long the making and marketing takes
