    Hi There,

Have you contacted payplan to see if they can help you with a dmp? Also there seems to be items missing from your SOA, such as dental bills, hairdressers, holidays etc......

If you repost your full SOA then we can take a look and see if we can help.

Have you shopped around for your gas and electric bills?
Can you cancel your sky bill and get a freeview box?
    What is the housekeeping for?

Have you looked at other ways of boosting your income? Things I've tried are:

    - Mystery Shopping (https://www.retaileyes.co.uk plus others)
    - Selling anything not tied down on ebay
    - AQA
    - Online Surveys
    - Evening work?
    - Setting up your own website?

Good luck with the interviews :D

  • no ppi on the bike, it was too expensive! Ive looked into giving it back but as other threads have shown Black horse doesnt give a **** and will reposess, sell on then stillcharge us for it so really Id rather have something to be paying for than paying for nothing.
Gas and leccy are guesstimates we have got another provider and told powergen to tottle off. water - didnt know you could swap to someone else for that so will check.
Housekeeping does cover general stuff - I havent had a haircut since 2004 :( except a trim by my mum and we cannot afford holidays - will have another go at it and re post.

  • Mystery Shopping is good, plus you can get free meals, however I wouldn't use Retail Eyes as they (in my case) are not good at communicating and may not even pay up!
  • cant you only get water meters on council or owned houses? doesnt the owner have to agree etc?

Not been on for a while BT messed up and weve been without net for weeks.
Back now the fault was so tiny thier embarrased to tell us what it is! lol

All suggestions welcome - We havent had a bill yet for leccy our lettings agents a bit lax and didnt change anything over so we are sorting all that out with the gas people now. The last tennents owe over £500 in gas but the bills are in the lettings agency name ( bet they will like that) however we have sorted that out so we dont get targeted for it.
Managed to cut the food bills down quite a bit by buying less meat and eating less ( will loose weight at least! lol)
New year new start looking forward to cutting those bills

The council have let us apply for descretionary payments to top up our rent - hopefully this will go through - more than anything hopefully one of us will get work soon :) happy new year all
