Just a quick comment re Expedia. We booked a very expensive holiday with them that turned into a fiasco. The whole thing was a disaster from start to end. It turns out that Expedia aren't ABTA registered so the only thing I can do to try to get my money back is start legal action which I am going to do but if I'd known they weren't ABTA registered I wouldn't have booked with them.
(And I know I should have checked and not just assumed a company of that size was registered)
    There will always be:
A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE ;)

Sorry to hear you've been having problems, freccle.

I've never booked a package holiday in my life, so I can't comment on how that works :o ...but I have used Expedia quite a bit for flights and I've never had a problem.

I guess it's best to do your own research on the hotels before booking.
