I read a thread in here about the Double the discount on pricing errors, however i cant seem to find it again? What i want to know is, if a shelf edge label states £19.00 and the item scans at £12 can you still claim DTD. Would love to know the facts, i can just see the salesperson saying "Not when its cheaper m8, only if we OVER-charge"

If the shelf says £19 and its scans at £12 then what are you trying to claim for ??????

You should just count yourself lucky that you have got it cheaper.

The double the difference obviously was only if they have overcharged therefore you have an amount to claim.

I'm lost too...unless of course the OP is offering to pay Tesco's dtd of the undercharge? :rotfl:

Only when you are overcharged - if the SEL says £12 and it scans at £19 then you should get DTD of £14. Even I wouldn't try for DTD on an undercharge!!!

To be fair the policy a few years ago was that it applied to both under and overcharges . I am not sure if it was DTD though.
