Baffled by Experian Updates.

Been posting a lot recently on credit agency. Have another issue from today which is confusing. I recently reported how most of my creditors have been slow to post updates to both Equifax and Experian this month.

The previous month I only used Equifax and everything was fine, updates were happening every week and appearing on my snapshots on the same date as they updated agencies.

Today July 19th I got another snapshot from Experian, I have been taking a snapshot daily from them. On todays shot my Barclays Bank Account has at last been updated (Still not showing on Equifax as of July 18th) to Satisfactory and Balance at 0 as the account was in a Arrangement to Pay agreement.

This is one of the accounts that had not been updated since six weeks ago, however although its only appearing to me now on Experian and states "File Updated for the Period to: 03/07/2011" why is it only appearing to me now?

The 3rd will be the date used by the creditor to check what the balance was etc (obviously in this case nil). This update was probably complied by the creditor a few days after the 3rd. Then then send the data to equifax and the update is then loaded onto equifax - presumably yesterday.

Its not uncommon at all for updates to have this sort of time lag.
