Settled or satisfied? Difference?

Hi all,
I am about to start full and finals (for less than the total), and have seen the template.
Is there any difference to getting my credit file marked as settled or satisfied - is one better than the other?
(N.B I am looking to getting FULL settled/satisfied, not partial)
Thanks

Usually an account is marked as settled if you keep up to date with payments and pay off and close the account.
If you have an account with a default marker then when this is fully paid up it is marked as satisfied.
If you come to an agreement with the lender and pay a reduced payment they may only agree to mark it as partially settled.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
