Capital One help..again please.

Some of you may remember my other thread...anyway bit of background info. I finished up uni in May (forever ) and have sent off letters to all my creditors telling them about my situation, giving them a incomings and outgoings sheet and offering payments of £1 until I find a full time job.

Thats was all fine, though Capital One replied asking for proof of my income, I send them 2 pages from my bank statements with everything blacked out with a marker except my wages going in. Also sent this to my other creditors who now agreed to the £1 payments.

Come home today to find a letter from Capital One saying:
Thank you for your recent letter advising us of your financial situation and returning the completed income and expenditure form (I never filled in any form?!)

The proof documents you have sent providing details of your income are insufficient. In order to support your application we require you to send us the following proofs:
-Wage slips to cover one month dated within the last 3 months.

The bank statement you have sent us is incomplete. In order to support your application we require you to send us the following proofs:
a complete bank statement dated within the last 3 months showing receipt of your income and general expenses. This must be an itemised bank statement and show a full calender month.

Well they can pretty much run and jump if they think I am sending them a full month's bank statement. They don't need to see what goes in and out of my account, just my wages which they have.
Could anyone point me in the direction of a reply letter? As at the moment in the mood I am in if I start to write one I can imagine it would be too...colourful shall we say.

Thank you!

I would simply reply to them and state that you have provided them with an income and expenditure statement which is sufficent for them to see you cannot afford anything more than the token payments you are currently paying.
I would then state that you do not intend to supply them with your itemised personal bank statements or wages slips and you are aware that you are not legally required to provide this level of information to a creditor.

And then just a final paragraph along the lines that you will contact them again if your circumstances change and you are able to increase your repayments.

Ask them if they can whistle......because thats what they can do! You do not have to divulge private information, they can either take the £1 or shove it!
