I have just watched a tv program on sky called Till Debt us do Part.
its about couples who have got into big debt and this woman comes along and tells then ideas etc to get out of it..we have similar programmes here too i know..
EXCEPT that this woman (cant recall her name) says if they do some cutting down in various areas she will give them £5000 as a treat,if they fail at certain issues it becomes less.So she is really just saying, do this for the program and ill pay off a chunk of your debts, which wont teach anyone anything. Then she makes people have savings, saying "if you have accident tomorrow you have nothing put by" ok i can see this, but she wants people to have savings of £000s when they have serious £00000s of debt AAARRGGHH:eek: ...then the best bit..when she gives the money she doesnt say "ok go and give this to the uncle you owe £2000 to(as one couple did owe uncle). She gets an interior designer in to do the basement up,or suggests a holiday!!!!!
PERHAPS YOU SHOULD GO OVER MARTIN AND KICK SOME USA !!!!!!:T

Looks like the media are trying to combat the wave of anti credit that is starting up by placing so called experts trying to persuade people to take more holidays etc.
Remember the media make money from advertising products
