I bought ab MP3 player around August 19th 2006 and the money was taken by Boots and then the bank re-called it due to being overdrawn. But Boots have never made a claim to retake the money?
Is there a time limit to when they can't reclaim the money or?
Thanks In Advance.

debit card transactions cannot be bounced. How did you really pay for it?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Boots took it, and the bank re-called it cause I didnt have enough in bank. Then bank added it to my account few days later. I even got charged £20 for them re-calling the Boots transaction.0 -

The refund has nothing to with your Bank IMO but a !!!! up in Boots' system which they may or not rectify. Just keep the money handy in the account for 6 years.0

I agree with ej. Debit card payments cannot be bounced by the bank as already mentioned. They can be reversed by the retailer but the bank has no control over them. If you are overdrawn (and over limit) and a bunch of debit card transactions come off, they will be paid (and you charged).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
