    I've been Money Tipped!
    Sorry, I don't have a link.

When I've tried to do a spending diary in the past I just bought a cheap little notebook that fit in my handbag then noted down each purchase I made (date, value and what it was for). I think it's important for the diary to be something you can keep with you and make notes as you go along.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

    I use https://www.spendingdiary.com

Easily updated and does all the graphs for different categories, which I like...as long as I don't look at the 'Take aways' column :o

The link is good, but I also suggest using a small notebook to ensure you don't miss/forget anything.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
