salary calculation

Hi there,

Just helping a mate with a salary calculation.

He has an annual salary of £19427 pa. At the end of the month he will be getting paid he wants to know how much. I calculated £598 using a salary calculator online but that was just dividing the normal monthly convu in two but normally the less you get paid the less tax you pay. He's a basic rate tax payer.

Any help appreciated.

It's 646l if that helps. Thought someone may know, even a rough amount with no deductions etc just on this tax code.
