quick question regarding tescos money off clothing coupons

hi.. i have got money off tescos clothing vouchers..

you know the ones...

£4. off when you spend £20 on kidswear..

£6. off when you spend £30. on menswear

£6. offf when you spend £30. on womens wear

£10. 0ff when you spend £50. or more on clothing..

these are valid until the 1st of june 07

do you know if there is any loopholes here... like.....if an item is reduced in the sale... the till still recongise the orginal price... as far as the coupon is concerned....etc...

i should imagine i could use 2 vouchers here at least ( if i pick a nice sa :D ) if i spend £50....

any ideas.......?..

thanks.....

  • The thing to do with the Tesco Clothing vouchers is to combine them with other Tesco Clothing vouchers with different barcodes. Like, at the mo, there are clothing vouchers in the Quit Smoking packs I believe. You should be able to use them together and get more money off that way. We call it 'Doing a Welshy' :D .

HTH. BTW not seen any of the I Quit packs yet, anyone got any spares, esp the clothing vouchers? I do have some of the 100pt healthcare coupons valid till 14 Jan I could swap... Please PM me if interested. Thanks! ;)

  • Hi

During the 20% off clothing promo in December I combined the £6 off £30 Mens clothing spend with the £10 off £50 clothes spend and the self scanning till accepted both. They also calculate the total spend before any discounts are applied to qualify you to use the coupons.

I ended up paying £27 for £56 worth of clothes once the 20% had been deducted too.

  • Thanks for the compliment Cooltrikerchick, I've bought clothing before used vouchers and then when I've put it on I look awful so have returned the clothing. The refund is given on the full price of the clothing not minus vouchers.

my mother ( cough.. cough ) bought me a pair of jeans from tescos.. and they were the wrong size.... so i exchanged them for the right size.... but i didnt realise...( cough.... cough ...) that they were bought from a charity shop for a £1... and they still had their £12. tescos price tag on them:D
