Travel bottles - MSE style

Just learnt this after an hour of research...
Travel (empty bottles) for shampoo etc vary in price but you're looking at about £5 and upwards for a set of three....plus bag...not 100% guaranteed leakproof...
however...
the cheap alternative is plastic medicine bottles from the chemist.....
I just got one (200ml - enough for shampoo) for 20p from the chemist and then another from a different chemist for 40p...
and these have child proof caps....
So practically guaranteed leak proof

If it's taken hand luggage yes. But if you are checking in a suitcase they'd be fine. Better than taking a huge bottle of shampoo with you (mine are 400ml).0 -
£1 in primark for a set of 3 bottles and 3 little tubs brill for body lotion etc and in a washproof bag as wellMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!

You are not helping yourself Erme.
Good idea to save up little bottles I agree
I save up little bottles and pots to decant various stuff into for hols, but I don't call 200ml 'little' (as per the OP's post).
200ml is the normal size of shampoo I buy.
I know how much shampoo, conditioner etc I'll use on holiday and decant into much smaller bottles.0
