i wondered, 400+ have viewed this freebie, but only 12 said thanks.

i'm not looking for thanks, but instead thought the title was quite clear so wondered why 400+ people would look at the post if it wasn't something they were interested in.

i notice that on alot of threads i think the title says it all - hundreds look but don't thank, so assuming it's of no interest to them is there any way I could have made things clearer here to avoid apparently wasting the time of so many people?

Have a look at the main chat page: At the moment there are 814 registered members and 2362 guests... chances are a lot of the people looking at this thread are non-members so you probably won't get many thanks and members can forget/don't want to thank or look and don't order so don't thank.

I didn't order but thanked you anyway as I passed it onto others.

sometimes the thanks button doesn't appear, if you look through countless threads someone is always saying they would say thanks but the button has disappeared

a lot of the freebies never arrive so maybe you will get more when the stuff gets delivered

i searched but couldn't find - there isn't any 'expiry' date on the form, or the usual 'this offer has closed' etc

as mentioned i wasn't looking for thanks just a reason so many posts have hundreds of views (when the topic should tell you if it's something you'd be interested in) but very few thanks, did the hundreds who didn't thank have their time wasted, could the topic have been clearer etc

I think the prev posts re thanks button and guest visitors are the answer and thanks for your post all

I don't know why people get so worked up over the thanks button. THIS THREAD has had nearly 20,000 views, and the info posted has been used by MANY members, but the most thanks on one post is just 13. What does it matter? It makes no difference to anything. If the info posted is useful to someone, isn't that good enough without getting something in return?
