Well, upstairs is all clean and tidy, hoovered and defluffed and even did the windows... :D

I didnt get to the skirtings and doors yet, but have hoovered down the stairs and degrotted the downstairs hall and glass/mirrors/windows etc.

LR has been decluttered, defluffed and hoovered, and have put the clean cushions back together for the sofa, also did the patio windows and glass and pictures in the LR.

Have emptied and refed the WM several times, emptied all the bins and even managed some filing and shredding :D

Off to Mr S to get salad and veg - think I might fit in Zumba at 6pm!!

Never did make it to the kitchen, but ho hum...!

    Laters all xx

  • Morning!

Minion has had scoliosis confirmed by the orthopaedic bod, who wants her to undergo physio urgently. Haven't mentioned it to her, but it does seem to be more pronounced with each couple of weeks. She's also been advised to avoid netball or any jumping sports like it, as there is one area of particular mechanical stress :(

After physio, the next step would be super duper specialist referral and bracing :(:(

Then, after she had been xrayed, pulled, poked and generally left in a lot of pain (hence the rest of the day off school), got back and checked on stoopid splat. As I trimmed the matted fur around the wound, his scalp lifted up to reveal another wound and far more nastiness than I was happy to deal with. The ick basically extends in a pocket from the back of his ears to his browbone. :(

The vet took pity on me, only left me waiting for about 20 minutes, brought us in ahead of everyone else and - more to the point - because I had already clipped his fur, saline washed him repeatedly, etc - only charged me under a fiver for some antibiotics to give him for the week.

Poor thing looks positively monstrous/partially lobotomised now - but he's still purring at me when I bathe him, right up to the moment I stop and he slinks underneath my bed, hoping I forget about him for the rest of the week. :)

The only decluttering I am bothering with in the meantime, therefore, other than the club tonight, is moglet's bonce.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
